# How do I find invoices from Apple? — DocFind Last reviewed: September 25, 2026. HTML version: https://docfindapp.com/answers/find-invoices-from-apple **First work out which Apple charged you. Apps, subscriptions, music and other digital purchases are listed in your Apple Account's purchase history; a device or accessory ordered from the online Apple Store has its own invoice on the order page.** The two are separate systems with separate help pages, and looking in the wrong one is the usual reason an invoice seems not to exist. ## Apps, subscriptions and other digital purchases

Apple's quickest route is the web: "Go to reportaproblem.apple.com" and "Sign in to your Apple Account to see a list of your purchases." If you only know the amount on your card statement, Apple's tip is "search for the amount" ([*View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services*](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118212), read 25 September 2026).

On an iPhone, the same list is in the App Store: tap your photo or initials, then "Tap Apps & Purchase History", then "Tap Purchase History". It opens on a short window — to go further back, "tap “Last 90 days” at the top of Purchase History and choose another way to filter your purchases."

If an entry is missing, Apple lists the usual reasons on the same page: you "might have used a different Apple Account to buy an item", or a family member bought it, or "Apple might group multiple purchases and subscriptions into one bill". That last one explains the charge that matches no single app.

## A charge that says apple.com/bill

That label is the digital side again. Apple's page on it says such a charge "could be for apps, subscriptions, music and movie purchases, or more from Apple", and that signing in lets you "view what was purchased with your Apple Account" ([*Get help with charges from apple.com/bill*](https://support.apple.com/en-us/120164), read 25 September 2026). With Family Sharing and Purchase Sharing on, the organiser can see what family members were charged for.

## A device or accessory from the online Apple Store

This is the one people mean by "invoice" for a tax return or an expense claim. Apple's shopping help (we read the US store's page): "Once an item is shipped or picked up, Apple will create an invoice for your order. To view or print your invoice, go to your Order Listing page and select an item to go to the order details. Then, select View Invoice at the top of your order details page" ([*Viewing & Changing Orders*](https://www.apple.com/shop/help/viewing_changing_orders), read 25 September 2026).

Two practical notes from that page. The invoice does not exist until the item ships or is collected, so an order still marked as processing has none yet. And if you checked out as a guest, you can still reach your orders "by signing in with your order number, along with the post code or email address."

## Is that receipt email really from Apple?

Apple warns that some phishing emails "might look like a receipt for a purchase" you did not make, and it gives one quick test: "Genuine purchase receipts — from purchases in the App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or Apple Music — include your current billing address, which scammers are unlikely to have." If in doubt, check the purchase in your history rather than clicking anything in the email, and forward suspicious messages to reportphishing@apple.com ([*Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store*](https://support.apple.com/en-us/102406), read 25 September 2026).

## What Apple's pages leave open

The order page above covers online orders; it says nothing about getting a copy of a receipt for something bought in a physical Apple Store, so for that, ask the store. And the purchase-history page does not say how many years back the list reaches — it only shows how to filter beyond the first 90 days (the *Viewing & Changing Orders* and *View your purchase history* pages, both read 25 September 2026). If an invoice matters for tax, save a copy as soon as it appears rather than relying on it being there later.
